Sunny's Ride

- Prologue -
1877, August, New Mexico

After arriving in the town, Sunny walked to the inn to take a bath and change her clothes. She selected a casual dress from Mexico which would be perfect for the warm weather around.

In the dinning room, she met Old Sanchez. He explained to her about Paco taking over the ranch after Olive's death many years ago. To thank him for his help, she decided to do some shopping for the old man, which should help her avoid the heat of the afternoon.

She walked across the street towards the central market. The town hadn't grown so much from the way she could remembered it and was just as welcoming as it was before. The majority of the town folks around seem be  Mexicans refugees like it was before and she felt many eyes upon her while she was walking.

She purchased some fruits when she accidentally knocked some oranges to the ground. While putting them back, a cow-boy walked toward her to offer to help her.

"You aren't from here Miss? It isn't safe for a woman like you to walk alone in the street."
